Hi all...
We finally made it to the bazaar today to go shopping - wow - it's like a huge flea market thats sort of outside but sort of inside, with very, very narrow uneven walkways and eeything you can imagine on either side of you....
We bought Drew his first clothes - of course most of them a little big as mommy misjudged the sizes, but that's OK. Get this - jeans and a sweater for about $9!!!! Unfortunately, they don't seem to sell matching outfits so you buy tops and bottoms and none of them really match. Gramma would not be too pleased!! I can't wait to get home and buy some American clothes...outlet shopping here I come...
We also started souvenier shopping and found some great stuff - so we were very excited about that...
Had a great lunch and when Tonya (our translator) explained that I was looking for grilled chicken, the waitress said that many Americans come to that restaurant so she knew what I was looking for - guess I'm a typical American...
Had a good visit with Drew trying on all his new clothes, which he seemed a little confused about. We also had our first "dirty" diaper today - quite the milestone....
So - all in all a good day here in Kazakhstan...

Sounds like a fun day in Kaz! Keep the pictures coming too. He's such a cutie.
Sounds like things are finally going well. We will keep our fingers crossed and we will keep you in our prayers. Don't fret about sizes, as soon as you get Drew home he will grow right into them. Here's to the 12th. Love ya, AL & UH
